Tournament Rules
FORMAT: 18 hole Four Person Scramble (Best Shot) tournament.
All rules interpretations will be handled and resolved by the Tournament Competition Committee.
Play will be conducted at scramble format: all four team members tee off on each hole and then select which tee shot to play from. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the selected shot.
If the ball you choose to play is in a hazard (sand, water, etc.), the rough, or out of bounds, you can not drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough even if relief is within one club length away. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. The ball should be marked on the putting green within 6” of the selected shot (no closer to the hole).
Each team must use at least TWO of each team members tee shots during the course of the round. (minimum two tee shots per player). Men tee off from the blue tees and women from the yellow tees. EXCEPTION: Hole # 13. All players, Male and Female, must tee off from the Blue Tees. This is to satisfy the insurance requirements for the hole-in-one give away.
Mulligans: Each player receives 1 Mulligan per 18 holes. Mulligans can be used anywhere during the course of play.
SKINS GAME: $20.00 per team. You may pay by cash or check at the registration desk. Teams recording the lowest un-tied score on a hole(s) will be eligible for a portion of the skin pool.
Prize Tickets: We will be drawing for prizes during the dinner. Complete the attached Player Information Sheet and turn it in at the entrance to the dining room to get tickets.
