Supporting Alexandria Student-Athletes

since 1994

The Alexandria Cardinal Athletic Foundation was created by Cap Paciotti and a group of passionate local leaders who believed in the power of sports to shape strong futures.

As a nonprofit partner to School District 206, we’re here to help raise the funds needed to support our athletic programs—so today’s student-athletes have the tools, facilities, and opportunities to grow into tomorrow’s community leaders.

How We Help

Tom Lehman Scholarship

Each year, the Cardinal Athletic Foundation proudly awards a $3,000 scholarship to one female and one male multi-sport athlete.

The awards are given to those who have demonstrated determination, commitment, and the drive to be successful in their academic and athletic careers.

Memorial Golf Tournament

Each year, we host the Cap Paciotti Memorial Golf Tournament—an event that celebrates the heart behind our Foundation.

Cap Paciotti was a founding force of the Athletic Foundation and believed deeply in the power of sports to shape future leaders. After his passing in 2003, the tournament was named in his honor. Each year, we recognize individuals who reflect the values and commitment that Cap championed.
